Hole 1: Bless Your Heart

AP starts off with a mid-range par 3 generally into a fresh breeze, with the birds chirping over your shoulder as you rip a 7 Iron into the middle of a protected green! Or you top it into the swamp, barely missing the deer that are bedded down, and the ducks that are meandering around the edge. Pro Tip: Avoid the back left bunker at all costs. You will be faced with a tough up and down, having to stop the ball on a fast back to front tiled green.

Hole 2: Come Get Me

A let up hole before it gets tough. The green has more undulation than an upside down buried Volkswagen bus so make sure your pin high… wherever that is. Pro Tip: It's downhill so take exactly 8.575 yards off of your carry distance!

Hole 3: Club Up Big Boi

A good uphill par 3, protected by a Rosanne-sized bunker on your right. Take one more club, as this hole is tough to get it all the way up to the pin. Birdies are rare here so play for a "6"!

Hole 4: You’re, You’re Not Good

This hole can stand anywhere, anytime. This very, very, very tough par 4 requires two perfect shots to avoid a score under 10. This hole can be had with a 3 wood off the tee, taking advantage of the downhill rollout and a wedge/short iron into a green, surrounded by water. Pro Tip: Don't go right. Don't go left.

Hole 5: Woody Woodpecker

Woody has it made back here. This good slight dog leg right, plays uphill and offers you views of Woody's nest. Perfect habit for lost balls and birds, keep your tee shot slightly left, otherwise the fairway can kick the ball into a hazard that Jimmy Hoffa was once lost in. Pro Tip: Avoid the bunker on your right off of the tee otherwise you might pull a Hasselhoff!

Hole 6: Skip it!

No, don't skip it. But if you thin it a bit off of the tee you might skip it off the water, or seriously endanger the lives of our ducks that live here. This good par 4 is fun, avoid the bunker on the left off of the tee. The green is fun, and like most here, get the ball to the right distance otherwise bring out the three whacks! Pro Tip: If you hit a house, don’t run. Raise your hand and meet your neighbor, turns out they are pretty cool!

Hole 7: Augusta

For some reason this reminds us of another great par 3 at Augusta. This downhill, fun par 3 is relatively easy, so get your birdie or par before all hell breaks loose next. Pro Tip: Keep ball BELOW pin here, a lot easier to make a putt going up this green than down.

This awesome par 3 reminds us of playing on a misty morning in Carolina listening to James Taylor. T

Hole 8: All Hell Breaks Loose

We told you. Strap your boots on buttercup, this could be one of the hardest holes in the STATE. Yes, we said STATE. Bomb it up the hill towards the right side as the ball kicks down. Your second shot, (if you are under 200 yards in) is a challenging all carry shot.  If you’re over 200 yards, aim way to the right on your lay up to avoid the water that is a little hidden from the top of the hill. Pro Tip: 3 Hail Mary's and secondary prayer on the tee may be necessary.

Hole 9: Carolina On My Mind

This awesome par 3 reminds us of playing on a misty morning in Carolina listening to James Taylor. The massive bunker on the left must be avoided at all costs otherwise you may never get out. Reference Jimmy Hoffa earlier! Keep your ball to the right on the approach for your easiest up and down. Pro Tip: Just like Gilligan's Island… Bail!
